Biography:
Ms. Fran C. Grossman, a Registered Dietitian and Nutritional Consultant in private practice for more than 16 years, is an expert on women’s issues, weight reduction, cancer, pregnancy, and cardiovascular and renal diseases. She is also a Certified Diabetes Educator.

Ms. Grossman received her Masters of Science degree in Nutrition at New York University.

Currently Operations Manager of the Maternal Child Health Care Center at The Mount Sinai Medical Center, Ms. Grossman was previously the Medical Center’s Director of Nutrition Education and Supervisor of Clinical Nutrition.

Ms. Grossman developed and implemented the Medical Center’s employee weight reduction program and wrote most of the nutrition literature distributed by the center.

Ms. Grossman lectures extensively in the New York area, including in the Graduate Nutrition Program of New York University and Columbia University. Considered one of New York’s leading health and nutrition experts, she has been published in publications as diverse as medical textbooks, medical journals, and women’s magazines, and frequently leads health and nutrition seminars and workshops throughout the New York area.
