Biography:
Dr. Windsor Ting is a cardiac surgeon in New York City and an assistant professor at College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, where he did his general surgery and cardiac surgery training. Dr. Ting completed his medical education at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston.

He is active in many areas of research including minimally invasive heart surgery, transmyocardial laser revascularization and consumer access to health care. In addition, Dr. Ting spearheads a research group at Columbia University focusing on medicinal use of botanicals.

Dr. Ting is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and the American College of Cardiology.
